Un Poison Violent (Love Like Poison) and Bryz (Disco)

20110624 French Film Festival and Disco 2nd Time Around - An achievement. This is our 2nd planned laag. After having a mind boggling FFF movie "Love Like Poison", we went to "Bryz" for a chill...Had fun spending PHP 55 for a night of dancing, laughing (and little alcohol :P).

...had a relaxing moment with team friends Ryan, Jellie, Mira, John Jay, Cha, Mitch, Don, Lawrence, Brian, Dandee and Erwin. We occupied a row, ground 3rd from back. I just noticed that a row there consists of 12 seats :P Hahahaha! :D

Anyways, for the movie..it was good but a little slow paced...so slow paced that Geng Ryan dozed off. Bwahahaha! For me, it was nice. Though the story is simple and dragging, there were parts that made me deduct and think. If a movie makes me do that, I consider it nice. :)

Tomorrow, we will watch Un Poison Violent (Love Like Poison).

Movie Night - X-men First Class

20110606 Movie Night - X-men First Class. A total of 16 movie goers. It was a ruckus, yet fun. I'm sure Ape 4 never really thought their group planned movie night will turned out a team movie night. :D

Videoke at K1, Disco at Nuvo. One helluva night. It was organized for our client.Unfortunately, she wasn't able to come. Glad the party never stopped. I really had a great night, I'm sure they all were having the time of their life too.

Gabii sa Kabilin

The Poster

No one probably thought another spontaneous laag was brewing last Friday. It was a lonely day, most people were not around. People were busy fixing bugs. There was no excitement in the air until 5PM when Migo mentioned the Gabii Sa Kabilin event. We heard about it at a local station on our way home. I remembered myself saying  that we should really attend.

After ranting to Migo why he just reminded me that time, I then relayed the information to my team and some friends, asked if they'd like to come. It was really just a so-so invite. I never thought they would really come at such a short notice.

There were 11 participating museums as seen in the poster. We really thought we could visit all of them. In the end we only visited 5. But the experience was worth a thousand memories. It was my first time to visit Cebu Museums, and 2 of my companions also. I really had fun, and it seems they were also.

First Stop: Yap - Sandiego Ancestral Home. They got lots of ancient utensils. The garden was nice. The house was awesome. It's quite small though compared to the other museums we've been into.

2nd Stop: Casa Gorordo. Pictures are not allowed here. But we still did. Haha! This museum was of grandeur. Big rooms, canopy beds, big dinning, prayer room,azotea,weird bathroom. Just some of the things you can see in there. They also have genuine copy of Noli Tangeri and El Fili, too bad opening is not allowed.

Just below the Azotea stairs. We're not aloud to visit the Azotea. VIPs were in there.

3rd Stop: Museo Sugbo. From Parian, you can walk to Yap - San Diego Ancestral Home and Casa Gorordo. To get here, we rode a bus from the corner of Casa Gorordo. Despite the rain, we still managed to have our picture taken.

Museo sugbo is rich in documents. If you are someone who hungered for an ultimate Cebu History, visit here. The museum is huge and have lots of rooms that display different things.

4th Stop: Fort San Pedro. We rode the bus again to reach here.

Feeling models? Hehe! The museum things was forgotten a bit here. We were busy taking pictures of the views. This was my first time to visit here at night.

The Kalesa Ride!

Museum. Bus. Kalesa Ride. Our PHP 150 ticket was really well enjoyed. This kalesa ride was supposed to take us to Cathedral Museum, unfortunately the wheel whined before we reached our destination. We just walked from DFA unto Cathedral. Tsk!

5th Stop: Cathedral Museum. Saint statues are abundant here. (also headless priest! Scary!)

The garden was nice. They accept wedding or event reservations, BTW!

Home. Sweet. Home

We paid PHP 150 for that. And I say,  it was cheap for such a great experience. On normal days, the common entrance for museums are between PHP 30-50. We had 5. Do mathematics please.

With that, my desire to pursue that heritage city tour I planned with Corie and Joey magnified. I should already schedule it.

1st Ganesha Laag

Ketchup, mustard, mayo, hot sauce...have you  tried combining them together? With the right mixture, you can create a perfect blend of sauce. A sauce that will surely create a memory.

Ganesha team is like this, a group of diverse individuals. Yet when put together, like the  perfect sauce, every moment is  a memory worth reminiscing.

Ahhhmmm..mura ko ug buntis! Waaaa!

Tonight another moment is added to the list of moments we already had - our first ever big group videoke. It was never planned. The idea just popped on our way to dinner. I could not remember if it was me or someone suggested it, but I was determined to carry out what was agreed. We deserved something enjoyable, something that would release all our pent up stress. We cannot postpone this anymore. Lo and behold, we did it!

K1 at Cross Roads-Room J was a non-living witness of how much fun we had. We sung, danced and laugh our hearts out. We jammed like there was no tomorrow. Hesitations were thrown. It was a wonderful night of laughter, singing, dancing and alcohol. As programmer, tonight created an interface. I look forward to the classes that would implement the said interface :D
